The decision has been made to close Incy Wincy Designs Challenge.
It has been very hard to do, but after looking at everything it was the best decision.
A few of us are going to write a little something to say goodbye - and reflect on our time here.

Over the last 15 or more years I have had the most amazing people be part of the design team, quite a few did a LOT of work behind the scenes which weren't known to our followers and players. Sincerest thanks to all of the Incy Wincy Family - Id like to thank you for all your hard work over the years.
Please do follow our designers on their blogs and designing lives.

The past few years have been very hard, especially the last 18 months - having lost 4 family members in 15 months. The latest being my dear mother, whom I had been caring for, for the last 20 years,
Now another piece of me has to close, so it is bittersweet. As much as I wanted to get into it and make it big like it used to - I just dont have the mental energy to do it. I thought I may get my mojo back be concentrating on Incy, but then Id look at the date and realised Id missed a whole month again, and what I wanted to do wasn't happening.
Hopefully I will make me way back into crafting seriously again, one day.

Thank you, all for staying with us and supporting the Incy Wincy Challenge Blog. I am forever grateful to Incy for they gave me my first break in the Design Team world back in 2016. I have grown as a designer and a blogger since I started and I owe most of that to being in the DT of Incy. Thank you Hev and the rest of the team, Karen, Suze, Helen and to the past DT members for the experience. It was a pleasure working with you. Incy Wincy Designs was the first Design Team that I became a part of back in October 2013. I have had a wonderful time as a member of this team and enjoyed meeting many different Design Team members some of which have been here the entire time that I have. I have enjoyed seeing all the submitted projects by the participants over the years.

DeleteOh dear Heather, it is no small feat to have to miss 4 family members in such a short time. And especially your mother. Lots of strength with this great sadness. This just takes time. And who knows... you might soon have some fun making cards again. Until then, stay strong and once again, lots of strength and take care of yourself.

DeleteI'm sad to read this but totally understand. Life is hard and definitely doesn't get easier! But your challenge has been steadfast, full of inspiration and very comforting to know over the years. Thank you all for that. Take care and happy crafting!

DeleteI'm so sorry to read all of this! And even though I will miss you very much and had to dry a few tears, I can understand your decision. And I think that's how it feels for a lot of us - especially because we all have time slipping through our fingers these days. Especially for beautiful things!
