Announcing....our NEW Design Team!!!!

First off, I would like to thank EVERYONE who applied to our Design Team! It was a really hard decision and took us longer than we thought!!!! All of the entrants were so good!!!!

Staying on with us this term are:

Hi there! Most of you know me by now, but for those that don't, I am Chris. I am the Design Team leader for Incy Wincy Designs and it has been a really fun year (almost!) I have been scrapbooking for about 10 years, and making cards for about 6 now! I am happily married with 3 Fur Children - a neurotic diabetic cat named Tux, a insane dog, but such a love, named Brick and a new puppy named Minty! We also have 6 leopard geckos and 2 fish! It is always an adventure around here, that is for sure! When I'm not in my craft room, you can find me outdoors - camping, hiking, exploring with the dogs, or reading! My favourite place to plunk myself in the summer is on my swing on my front deck!!!! I am a teacher & I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! EH!!!

Heather

My name is Heather and I am from South Australia. I have been crafting for as long as I can remember, when other girls were playing with their dolls I had my case with scissors, paper and crayons. Mum still has the first card I made her - when I was 5.
I started Incy Wincy Designs as a way to get word out about our charity and also meet new people - which I have definitely done :) I dabble in all sorts of crafts and try a bit of everything, but always have 100's of unfinished projects... oops
Thank you all for supporting us and in turn helping Aspire To Thrive Children's Charities (was named Incy Wincy Children's Charities) which is the charity Greg, Tami and Myself started.
Have a fabulous day :)

Tami

My name is Tami Brow, I'm 38 married to Greg Brow with 3 children.
I have been crafting now just over 12 months and enjoying learning new things and trying different variety of styles for card making.
I am a stay at home mum, and am a co-founder of Aspire To Thrive Children's Charities Inc. I enjoy reading, music and movies

Hi Y'ALL!! Let's See I love all things artsy, I play around with alot of variety of mediums from glass to paper to computer graphix. I started out by making cards for Xmas really simple ones too, a sticker in the center of a card. Then I got bitten by the bug, and found blogs and have learned so much and love doing this. I even started to create my own digi's "Limited Runs Digi's" and have a lot of fun making them, they keep me using my graphix proggies and so does Chris, as I help out with some of the graphix for Incy Wincy from time to time. The team has been wonderful to work with and I'm happy to be staying on too. I'm also from Canada too but from Toronto and been with my man for 18 years and we have one kitty that loves to sleep where ever I am working, last time I made a painting he had a lovely blue tail lol.

AND now....without further ado...... here are the newest members of our team: Please give them a WARM welcome!!!

Greg

Hi My name is Greg, I started making cards because I said I could do better than my wife, even though I am wrong about being better, I did find an enjoyment in making cards. I am married to Tami who is also a member of the design team. We have 3 wonderful children - when they are behaving. Heather is my eldest sister and I have no hope but to make cards really.

Rhonda

Hi -I am Rhonda from Bumblebee creations. I have not been a crafter for very long, but sure enjoy it now that I have gave it a go!! I have four kids, and an awesome husband who is pretty good about my spending sprees for crafting supplies. I live in northern Michigan, and love to go camping too. My Oldest daughter is still in college for nursing, my middle daughter is getting married in September, my son is old enough now to take drivers training, and my youngest daughter is in the end of the 1st grade-soon to be in second! Yikes time goes by way to fast!! I love digi images, I seem to do much more of them than regular stamping!

I am happily married and have 4 wonderful kids (3 boys and a girl) who all keep me very busy! I work for the NHS (National Health Service) leading on Vocational Qualifications and Training. Funny how I started card making really as it was on a camping trip a couple of years ago, I had always enjoyed calligraphy and anything arty but had never had a crafting hobby as such. We were camping in the Lake District and being England it chucked it down all week, while the kids were happy getting covered in mud I was getting bored. We went out shopping I ended up in a crafting shop where I bought some ready made toppers, a box of card stock and some glue; back at the tent I started on my first cards – they weren’t great but they were OK and most of all I enjoyed it! I must say my style, techniques and confidence has grown since then (along with my stash) and there is no way I could fit it all in the car now to take it on a camping trip LOL.

Doreen

Hello my name is Doreen. I live in Sheffield UK with my husband of 42 happy years, I have three children who have now flown the nest and 2 grandchildren. I have only been making cards since May of 2009, I have never done any crafting until then and it all happened because I decided to tidy the loft and get the old photos out to have a look. I decided they needed to be put into new albums. I then thought I would sort them into scrap books and journal them for future generations. I have now made 10 scrapbooks. When the photos came to a stop I decided I was having so much fun and I had all this gorgeous stash left over, I wanted to carry on crafting and so I started making cards. My husband has turned our spare bedroom into a craft room, and I am crafting every spare moment I get. I haven't decided what technique I like best I still haven't tried them all, I am enjoying stamping at the moment.

Hi, my name is Kim Eisele, and I live in sunny Arizona. I am owned by two wonderful dogs and two awesome cats who are all loves! I started dabbling with scrapbooking and card making about 5 years ago. A few months ago, I discovered blogs and on-line challenges, and now I am totally addicted to crafting. When I’m not playing in my craft room, I volunteer at a local no-kill animal shelter, as well as at a facility that assists the elderly. I also am now taking piano lessons at the ripe old age of 48…
I am very excited and honored to be a member of the Incy Wincy Design Team.

Shelley

I'm Shelley wife and mother of 3 lovely boys. I started card making just over 3 years ago and I soon got addicted. The area I live in only have one craft shop so I found it hard to find what i wanted which is why I opened my online web store One Stop Card Crafts. I run the store with my family and working from home is great and saves on child care.

I love all aspects of card making and enjoy trying new techniques. My favourite at the moment is Digital stamping, fancy folded cards and creating boxes. I also love a challenge which is why I am chuffed to bits to be on the Incy Wincy design team and can't wait to get started.

Clare

Hi. I'm Clare & owner of Thread-bare. I have been married to my wonderfully supportive husband Rich for nearly 6 years. We met when we were both working for Harley Davidson in the UK. I am a Mum to Jade 20, Jean-Luc 17 & Julian 13. I have 3 cats & at the moment 2 rabbits. I love crafting & creating. My other loves include Chelsea FC & Motorsport.
My claims to fame are I have been in the audience for Gladiators & Are You Smarter Than Your Ten Year Old. More recently I took part in a photo shoot for a website campaign for a Dove Shower gel. I am really excited to be part of this great DT & am hoping to make loads of new friends while here.
