Ch. 75 LOTS happening here!!+ our Guest Designer for January

HAPPY 2011!!!! Wow!! cant believe it is here already!!!
May it be everything you wish and more :)

Thank you for your support over the last year and we hope to have you play along with us during the year :)

Chris has organised some FABULOUS challenges and prizes - she is amazing!!

This week we have the challenge of ATCs and we are again sponsored by ATTCC
$10 worth of images from the store :)

For those who are unaware about atcs here is some information which will help you out :)

AN ATC is "Artist Trading Card" - the size is 3.5" by 2.5" or (64mm by 89mm)

Artist Trading Cards are a great way to share your stamped art using a small canvas! Here is a template to get 10 ATCs out of one sheet of paper. (American size letter paper I believe - you can get 9 out of a sheet of A4 without much wastage)

Here is a link to a bunch of ATCs so you can see what they are.

Design team were asked to make an atc using an image from Aspire To Thrive Store and these are the beauties they came up with :)

Now here is someone special we would like you to meet..................

Meet VAL, our Guest Designer for the month of January
(Please click on her name to get to her blog to check out her GORGEOUS work):

I am in my 60's, married for 38 years, with two grown up sons, and three
cats - a Persian who is now 17 years old, and two naughty boy
Chincillas. I have a fairly eclectic style, working with stamping,
digital and multimedia and altered art. I took early retirement because of ill-health, which has now improved beyond measure, and although crafting in one form or another has been part of my life since childhood, when I found cardmaking, rubber stamping, etc, around 10 or so years ago, it was almost life changing for
me - I became addicted! This is well evidenced by the amount of stash I
have, and very little space left in my craft room. I love colour and
working with it and the results were so immediate. I feel truly honoured to be a guest designer for you.

So looking forward to seeing Vals work (my fault for the atc challenge- oops)

So if you want to be in the draw for the $10 ATTCC voucher add your link with the froggy and we will all be able to share in your talents :)

See you next week
Heather and the DT
